PROSorb and ARTsorb are not dehydrating products such as normal silica gel or activated clay.

These are specific products, technically defined as "humidity stabilizer" and are used in all those contexts where it is essentially important to keep the percentage of humidity within a precise threshold, limiting any extreme in the sense of being too wet or too dry. For this particular specificity of the product, the ProSorb and ARTsorb are widely used in the Fine Arts sector, museum restoration and conservation.
