The most commonly used product is the desiccant chain, designed to absorb large amounts of moisture and reduce the risk of condensation inside the container. With their high absorption capacity, these chains provide prolonged protection against condensation and moisture buildup during long weeks of shipping and storage at destination ports, preventing potentially irreversible damage to goods and their packaging.
Each chain consists of six 120 g bags made of highly hygroscopic material, joined together. At the top end, a sturdy hook allows easy attachment to the internal fittings of any container. These desiccant chains are placed inside the container at regular intervals in a quick and simple process.
In addition to the chains, 1 kg bags of silica gel or clay are available, ideal for protecting large packages or providing additional moisture control inside the container. Some formats come with cords for easy attachment.
For extra protection, you can also find barrier material, a special multilayer film available by the meter or pre-cut, offering additional protection against external moisture during transport.
