Loose white granular silica gel is a high-purity desiccant, packaged in a sealed 1 kg polyethylene bottle with screw cap. This premium-grade drying agent is widely used in industrial, laboratory, and storage environments to ensure effective moisture control.

It is available in two main grain sizes to suit different technical requirements:

2 – 5 mm (default): standard size, ideal for general-purpose and industrial applications.

0.5 – 2 mm: finer grains, suitable for limited spaces or faster adsorption needs.

      Product Features

Composition: High-purity silicon dioxide processed into durable granules.

Properties: Odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and chemically inert. Safe and adaptable for many critical environments.

Structure: Porous microstructure with high surface area, enabling excellent moisture adsorption performance.

Stability: Non-deliquescent: remains dry to the touch even when saturated, without releasing moisture back into the environment.

      Adsorption Capacity

Effective up to 65 °C, with optimal performance at room temperature (20–30 °C) and high relative humidity (60–90% RH).

Typical adsorption values at 23 °C:

Relative Humidity (RH) Temperature Indicative Adsorption
      20% 23 °C 12 ± 1 % (w/w)
      40% 23 °C 20 ± 2 % (w/w)
      90% 23 °C 36 ± 2 % (w/w)

      * Values based on lab measurements. Actual performance may vary depending on usage, airflow, grain size, and packaging.

      Main Applications

This loose silica gel is designed for technical and professional moisture control in various sectors:

      • Industry: Protects components, raw materials, and finished products from humidity-related degradation. Suitable for use in air treatment, dehumidification, and storage.
      • Laboratories: Helps maintain dry environments, preserve reactive chemicals, and purify gases.
      • Museums and Archives: Used to stabilize humidity levels for the preservation of cultural heritage items, documents, and artworks.
