Offer for a single pack containing 500 sachets of silica gel, 2 grams Tyvek, sealed in a high density molecular density polyethylene bag.

Size of the single sachet: 4.8 x 2.8 cm, thickness of the sachet: about 4 mm.

The "micro bags" are the smallest packaging available. The dehydrating material contained in them (silica gel) is present in the amount of 2 grams. These sachets, available exclusively in Tyvek®, are specifically designed for use in extremely small containers and bottles, which are widely used in the pharmaceutical, chemical or electronic industries.

Tyvek® is a special material that prevents any release of dust that forms inside the sachet by rubbing the silica gel crystals.

Because of this peculiarity these special sachets are suitable for application in sectors where the release of dust must be absolutely avoided, even if in very low percentages, for reasons of contamination or even simply aesthetic.

The fields of application are: optical equipment, sophisticated electronic instrumentation, electronic cards, underwater housings for cameras, scientific laboratory instruments, instruments for special measurements or precision etc.

In addition, these sachets can be used whenever the release of dust on particularly valuable objects or artefacts of high artistic and collectible value is desired.

The silica gel sachets are sealed in heat-sealed plastic bags, in order to preserve them from any contact with damp environments during transport or storage, thus avoiding providing the customer with a product that has already absorbed moisture.

In our particular packaging the integrity of the product is demonstrated and guaranteed by a special humidity indicator (8% HIC) inserted in each of them, which changes color if the salts have absorbed moisture during storage. The same indicator will inform you about the condition of the bags, once the package has been opened, in order to know the condition of the material even after a longer storage period.

Silica Gel absorbs moisture keeping the environment in which it is stored dry.

It is advisable, in case of partial extraction of the bags from the packaging, to re-seal the protective plastic bag. Close it carefully and within a short time (for example with adhesive tape), it will keep the original absorption capacity of the silica gel of your bags not yet used for a longer time.

All our bags are free of Dimethyl fumarate, a fungicide additive declared toxic.
