Silica Gel absorbs moisture keeping the environment in which it is stored dry. In the 240 gram format it is very effective for dehumidifying medium-large format containers (for example cabinets).

Single bag size: 21,5 x 9.5 cm - about 2 cm thick

Absorption capacity: At an ideal temperature of 23 ºC and ambient humidity of 40% the water vapour absorption capacity of the silica gel sachet is equal to 20% of its initial weight. 

The silica gel sachets are sealed in packs, so as to preserve them from any contact with damp environments during transport or storage, thus avoiding providing the customer with a product that has already absorbed moisture.

In our particular packaging the integrity of the product is demonstrated and guaranteed by a specific humidity indicator, inserted in each of them, which changes color in the event that the salts have absorbed moisture during storage. The same indicator will inform you about the condition of the bags, once the package has been opened, in order to know the condition of the material even after a longer storage period.

It is advisable, in case of partial extraction of the bags from the packaging, to re-seal the protective plastic bag. Close it carefully and within a short time (for example with adhesive tape), it will keep the original absorption capacity of the silica gel of your bags not yet used for a longer time.

All our bags are free of Dimethyl Fumarate, a fungicide additive declared toxic.
