Package 480 g - 2 pcs - indicating silica gel home pack

Silica Gel absorbs moisture keeping the environment in which it is stored dry. The 480 gram format is very effective for dehumidifying large format containers (eg cabinets, closed furniture) and is specific for use in naval containers.

These particular bags contain orange (indicating) silica gel which turns from yellow to light blue when saturated. The color change can be seen through the non-woven fabric of the casing.

The silica gel sachets are sealed in packages, in order to protect them from any contact with humid environments during transport or storage, thus avoiding providing the customer with a product that has already absorbed moisture. The Home line is mainly designed for the consumer user by offering more limited quantities of product, suitable for domestic use, and packaged in a more easy-to-manage packaging.

In our particular packages, the integrity of the product is demonstrated and guaranteed by a special humidity indicator, inserted in each of them, which changes color if the salts have absorbed moisture during storage. The same indicator will inform you about the status of the bags, once the package has been opened, in order to know the condition of the material even after a longer storage period.

It is advisable, in case of partial extraction of the bags from the package, to re-seal the protective plastic bag. Close it carefully and within a short time (e.g. with adhesive tape), it will maintain the original silica gel absorption capacity of your unused bags for longer.
